  • Highlights from three key matches in round twenty of the 2015-16 German Bundesliga season.

Wolfsburg were hunting for their first win in six league games, but faced a tough task away at Schalke.

And the visitors go off to a bad start as Klaas Jan Huntelaar put Schalke into a 25th minute lead with a classy long range effort.

Schalke doubled their lead in style just 10 minutes later. How about that for a free-kick from Johannes Geis!

Wolfsburg failed to threaten and Shalke secured the three points in the 87th minute through substitute Alessandro Schoepf.

3-0 the final score, leaving Wolfsburg without a win in seven matches.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich played for the first time since Pep Guardiola's announced he will be moving to Manchester City. The Spaniard was left frustrated as his team missed the chance to got 10 points clear at the top after this goalless draw at Bayer Leverkusen.

Robert Lewandowski had the best chances for Bayern, but unusually for the Pole he couldn't convert. Xabi Alonso saw red late on for two bookings to compound a frustrating day for Pep.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho was in the stands to watch third placed Hertha Berlin face second placed Borussia Dortmund.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan went close for Dortmund in the second half after a dull first 45.

Salomon Kalou had a chance for Hertha, but he couldn't convert and this one also ended goalless. Meaning that Dortmund stay second and Hertha hang onto third spot.
