Norwich City drew 1-1 on Sunday (November 29) with Arsenal at Carrow Road and City manager Alex Neil hailed striker Lewis Grabban, who grabbed the equalising goal for the Canaries after Mesut Ozil had opened the scoring in Norfolk.
SOUNDBITE (English) Alex Neil, Norwich manager (asked about starting Lewis Grabban):
"I think if it doesn't go to play and we lose then I would get criticised for putting him in, he would get criticised for playing. At the end of the day management is about making decisions you think are right when everybody else thinks it's wrong. That's what I did today. Credit to Lewis, I thought he showed everyone how good a player he is."
SOUNDBITE (English) Alex Neil, Norwich manager (asked about his relationship with Lewis Grabban):
"It's really simple and it's been fine. I've got a really good relationship with Lewis and like with any player, if they break the rules then they'll be punished. It's not really been an issue. He's accepted his punishment and we've moved on. He's been training for four, five, six weeks to get himself ready to play. Because that happened he's put himself behind others so that's why he's not been involved. I just thought today's game suited his attributes and I put him in. He put a good performance in for the team."
