SOUNDBITE (English) Sachin Tendulkar, Cricket legend:
"We have come here to play a different match. A match against diarrhea. All the diseases caused by diarrhea. I'm going to bat for Unicef. And it's not an eleven member squad. It's the entire (country) of Sri Lanka that is involved in this match. We as a team have to beat all the diarrheal diseases. When I was told that 1,600 children die every day of diarrheal disease. It's really disheartening to hear that in 2015 - we have to make an effort to get together and put this to an end. Our team is definitely stronger than theirs."
SOUNDBITE (English) Sachin Tendulkar, Cricket legend:
"So here I am on behalf of Unicef to give you a message to say please don't take things for granted. These are the simple things that you can follow then we are able to keep all the diarrheal diseases away from us. And the whole match is about that. We have to win this game. And I will continue to assure you that I will continue to bat for Unicef and together let's go out and win this game."
