"Lausanne is a beautiful city, actually I lived in it for two years when I was between 14 and 16. They love their sports there and for that reason I really support this bid and hopefully I will see you all in Lausanne in 2020."

"Growing up in Lausanne I know how enthusiastic people are about sports here. It would be great to welcome the Youth Olympic Games 2020 in the region. I'm a big fan of the Olympic Games and I would love to see the young Olympic athletes competing in my home town."
