    On new contract

"I am very happy. It was been a good fit. I think the owners and the Coates family have said that themselves. So if we can come to some sort of agreement then I would be more than happy."

"I think he is very philosophical about it. He understands that these things happen. I think his first words to me were that - that's football. That's what it is like. There is no rhyme or reason. There is just a million to one chance. Unfortunately the legs have been put in the one position that basically puts too much position on the ligament and it doesn't matter how much training you do or how much strength you have in your quads and your lower body. If you put your leg in that position and you put that much stress on the ligament then there's a chance that it might pop."

On Robert Huth's move to Leicester City

"Robert (Huth) indicated that he wanted to play. The likelihood of him playing for us in the coming weeks was probably low and he accepted that. I had a good conversation with him and told him where I stood in terms of where I stood in regards to his situation. He fully understood what I was saying and we both agreed that he needed games."

    On QPR and possible relegation

"I think it's difficult for them. I think they do need to get some points on the board away from home. I think their home form has been excellent. Very strong. They have had some good performances and obviously some good results as well. But to just really depend on your home form to get you through the whole season is difficult. You do need to pick up some points on the road. We don't intend for them to do that here. We are in a good vein of form at the moment. Playing well and winning games as well."
