Barcelona head into the first El Clasico of the season looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league.

The Catalan side are yet to lose a game this season and have gone eight league games without conceding.

Lionel Messi is one goal shy of the Spanish league record and a brace at the Bernabeu would take the Argentine clear of Telmo Zarra's record, the Athletic Bilbao legend scoring 251 goals in the league.

One man who will be itching for his first league goal is Luis Suarez. Manager, Luis Enrique confirming on Friday that the Uruguayan will "have some minutes for sure", after his four month ban comes to an end.

Barcelona have no fresh injury concerns, with the big decision whether or not to start Suarez, perhaps ahead of Spanish forward Pedro.

The Camp Nou side go into the game four points ahead of their arch rivals and sit on 22 points after 8 games, the one game in which they dropped points was a scoreless draw with Malaga.
