    Highlights from the 4th day of action at the Youth Olympic Games in the Chinese city of Nanjing on Tuesday (19th August).

    The Youth Olympic Sports Park Beach Volleyball venue welcomed a special guest on Tuesday - IOC President Thomas Bach.

    Bach stepped onto the sand during a break of competition and spoke to athletes.

    The golf event for men and women teed off. Marcus Kinhult from Sweden and Brett Coletta from Australia share the lead amongst the men after carding opening rounds of 66 - six under par.

    In the pool, Hannah Moore from the United States and Ambra Esposito from Italy both finished the Women's 200 metre backstroke in 2 minutes and 10.42 seconds, so they shared the title.

    Great Britain sprung a surprise in winning the Men's 4x100 metre relay after only qualifying fourth for the final. Italy finished the second followed by Germany.

    The semi-finals for Men and Women in the Rugby Seven were staged At the Youth Olympic Sports Park Rugby field.

    In the Men's event, Argentina beat Kenya 19-12, and France defeated Fiji 34-12.

    The two winners will fight it out for the title in the final, while Kenya will take against Fiji for the bronze medal.

    Giarnini Regini-Moran of Great Britain won gold in the men's all-around, the blue-riband event in artistic gymnastics, with a commanding performance.

    The Briton finished on 84.725, ahead of Russia's Nikita Nagornyy who claimed silver and bronze medallist Alec Yoder of the USA.
