Carlisle vs Colchester United - Jabo Ibehre pushing for Carlisle start
Posted Friday, September 30, 2016 by PA
Carlisle boss Keith Curle could make changes as his side look to stretch their unbeaten start to the season to 11 games against Colchester at Brunton Park.
Avoiding defeat will set a new league record for the Cumbrians, who battled to earn a point at Doncaster on Tuesday after Jabo Ibehre's late leveller.
Ibehre's goal after coming off the bench may tempt Curle to give him a start.
Charlie Wyke and Reggie Lambe are also hoping to change their manager's mind after starting amongst the substitutes at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Colchester will be without winger Brennan Dickenson, who is set for a couple of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Forward Dion Sembie-Ferris could come into contention after the 20-year-old impressed as a second-half substitute in the midweek draw at Crawley.
Defender Frankie Kent has stepped up his recovery following a knee problem, but midfielder Tom Lapslie remains out with an ankle injury.
Midfielders Owen Garvan (leg) and Doug Loft (Achilles) are also continuing their rehabilitation, along with defender Matt Briggs (hip) and midfielder Louis Dunne (ankle).
