Roma are reportedly looking to capitalise on Mathieu Debuchy's unhappiness at Arsenal by launching a January bid for the right-back's services.
The 30-year-old France international is currently on the first-team fringes at the Emirates Stadium, having made just four appearances in all competitions.
Spanish youngster Hector Bellerín is Gunners manager Arsene Wenger's preferred choice at right-back, and Debuchy is said to be frustrated by a lack of regular action.
According to Le10Sport, the Giallorossi are ready to pounce for Debuchy in the January transfer window as they look to bolster their defensive options.
And, with Euro 2016 set to take place next year, the defender is determined to remain in France manager Didier Deschamps' plans for the tournament.
Debuchy has made 18 appearances in all competitions for the north Londoners since sealing a reported £12 million switch from Newcastle in the 2014 off-season.
Roma boss Rudi Garcia only has one natural right-back at his disposal in Brazilian Maicon, who is on the twilight of his career after turning 34 in July.
