Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho looked a bit villainous at Ukraine versus Spain

What on earth is Jose Mourinho playing at with this getup at the match between Ukraine and Spain tonight?

The Chelsea boss was present to watch several of his players playing (Azpilicueta and Fabregas started; Pedro is on the bench) but has attracted ridicule on social media for his halfhearted attempt at a disguise.

Television cameras caught Mourinho lurking in the shadows, leading to plenty of funny comparisons, ranging from a dark lord Sith in Star Wars to the protagonist in popular video game Assassin’s Creed.

It only adds to the image being conjured up by the media of Mourinho in a period of turmoil.

The Special One is enduring a very difficult passage in his career where his title-winning side are hovering around the relegation zone eight games into the season.

Reports of in-fighting and fall-outs seem feasible considering the fiasco surrounding former club doctor Eva Carneiro in August. Mourinho started that spat and left it with a stain on his reputation.

Many adjudged Mourinho to have acted in a rather villainous way and he looked the part tonight.
