Queen of South vs Glasgow Rangers preview - Alex Harris back in Queen of the South squad for Rangers visit
Posted Saturday, August 29, 2015 by PA
Queen of the South welcome back winger Alex Harris to their squad to face Rangers at Palmerston Park in the Scottish Championship.
Harris, on loan from Hibs, missed the Scottish League Cup defeat to Morton in midweek as he was cup-tied.
Kyle Jacobs is available after a knock but Dale Hilson and Calum Tapping are out due to foot injuries.
Manager James Fowler said: "Rangers are a much-changed side and one that carries a real attacking threat. I watched them against Airdrie in midweek and they had the game won in 15 minutes when they were 3-0 up.
"We have to stay in the game. The longer we do that the better our chances are."
Teenage Rangers winger Tom Walsh will miss out with a knee injury.
Gers will also be without the defensive pair of Darren McGregor and Marius Zaliukas after both were this week released by boss Mark Warburton.
Goalkeeper Cammy Bell remains the only other absentee but Warburton hopes to see him return to action soon.
