Ten Torino supporters have been injured, one of them seriously, by a letter-bomb that had been thrown into the crowd by Juventus fans during the derby game.
At first, it appeared that two people had been seriously injured, but subsequent reports by the nearby hospital stated that only one of the fans had been badly injured, who would have to remain in their care.
After the match, security forces detained at least three people for throwing letter-bombs (another was thrown after the game had finished, which Torino won 2-1) and other objects within the stadium during the game.
Another three 'tifosi' were also detained for incidents that occurred prior to the game and in the first half.
The injured fans, all of them Torino supporters, according to the Italian media, were seated in the 'Primavera' stands and were injured by fragments of the seats that exploded with the letter-bomb.
Of the ten wounded, the hospital authorities soon allowed eight to go home, while two were kept under observation. In time, one of them was considered recovered enough to leave. However, one supporter has been severely injured by the bomb and remains in hospital.
