Ayr Utd. vs Dunfermline preview - Donald return gives Ayr a lift

Michael Donald comes back into the reckoning for Ayr as they prepare to host Dunfermline.
Donald has served a two-match suspension but Michael McGowan is banned and Robbie Crawford remains out with a groin injury.
United are looking for a first win of the season over the Pars after five previous league and cup meetings as player/ manager Mark Roberts seeks to guide his side into the play-offs.
"We have not had any good fortune against Dunfermline this season but hopefully we can get some in this game," said Roberts. "The first four games were very competitive, but the last two Dunfermline have been better and won well.
"I am looking for us to close the gap in this one."
Dunfermline, who will finish the season as runners up to Rangers, look set to be without on-loan Aberdeen striker Lawrence Shankland due to a groin injury.
Ryan Wallace is still absent following leg surgery while Jordan Moore continues to receive treatment for cancer.
"We have done well to secure second place with such a young squad and now we can turn our thoughts to the play-offs," said Pars boss Jim Jefferies.
"We do not want to be going into them after ending the season flatly so we will continue to field competitive teams. I want the players to be giving me a selection headache for the play-offs."
